Street Style Sunday - a Love of Clarks

What I wore to the Clarks Press Day...Clarks brogues of course I have to admit none of us have been 100% this week, we have managed until this point to ward off most colds but it seems like winter has finally caught up with us this week so we have been hibernating somewhat the past few days but that means I have finally had time to get around to blogging about the lovely Clarks Press Day I attended near the end of last year and showcased the summer styles coming 2015 and I totally feel in love with the silver Clarks Originals for kids (I really want a pair for myself!) Plus all the fun colours and patterns. We love Clarks in our household, I think it's because it's such a great British family brand and there is something for everyone. John has always been a keen collector of Clarks Originals and have a few mint pairs of Desert Boots that are more than 15 years old! I personally love their brogues, loafers and summer sandals plus the collaboration th......

Five Classic Men's Accessories

John wearing his white vans with Pink RL socks and Bape Watch It’s not just women that like to use accessories to finish off their outfits. Men’s accessories can complete a style and really add a touch of class to a look which you are trying to achieve. In fact, you don’t even necessarily need to change your clothes in order to re-invent your look. Some well-chosen accessories can do the job just as effectively, often with a far reduced cost. Shoes It’s been shown time and time again that men are actually just as fussy about their shoes as women are, with large numbers owning nearly as many pairs as their female counterparts. The great thing about shoes is that so many different looks can be achieved, depending on the type of shoe you are wearing. Even if you are wearing the same pair of jeans, your style can be instantly transformed by replacing your pair of Converse trainers for some Brogues for example. Clarks paired up with YMC to create these lovely loafers Bag......

London Love Part 1

So it's John's birthday this week and even though we both visit London fairly often it is rare for us both to have a day together in the big smoke, let alone for two days without the little man (this is only our 2nd proper night away from him). It was great to have a bit more time to stroll around soho or check out the shops we love but never have time to get too. We stayed in a great little boutique hotel right in the heart of soho which had a lovely courtyard with spiral staircase and sunny roof terrace and best of all in the evening in the terrace they served wine with antipasti's and cheeses, all included, which is a great way to socialise and start the evening off. Chillin in the hotel courtyard My favourite - Wine, Olives and hummus We started the day off taking a stroll to Carnaby street, as just off it is one of Johns favourite boutique denim companies - Albam, he treated himself to a denim tote bag which will be perfect for work. We also had a dr......

Boys Club - shades and shirt

So it's that time of the week again when John get's to share his outfits, loves and wants with you. As the weather is meant to be warming he has recently purchased a pair of Clarks collaboration with YMC loafers which will be perfect with shorts in the summer. He also got to review some SXUC sunglasses and the little man Mr A is taking after mum with his Boden camera tee. First off all his favourite outfit of the week consists of the Ralph Lauren Polo he bought as a gift for himself at Christmas - it's been a pretty hectic year for us, with John completing his first successful year as being self employed so it was well deserved, especially since I have tight reins on our small budget. He is also wearing Edwin jeans and his Clarks YMC loafers. So the nice people at sunglassesshop.com where kind enough to send both John and I a pair of sunglasses for summer - I hope we get to use them! Here is John rocking the SXUC clubman style shades, they have a really......

The playful outfit

So there has been a reason for the lack over posts over the past week - mainly do to the fact the UK had a mini sort of heat wave - and when it is sunny in the UK you really have to make the most of it. Also last thursday I was invited to the Boux Avenue store opening in Bath, and very excited we headed off to the amazing historical city that is Bath for a fun filled morning of lingerie, but on the way we got stuck in two sets of road works, stand still traffic getting into the city and my SAT NAV directing me to the wrong side of Bath...all in all despite leaving with more than enough time I missed the opening - could not believe it! Still had a great day in Bath though - but this sort of ruined what was going to be two large fashion/lingerie inspired posts. Although I have been making good use of the denim playsuit I bought for the opening and wore it on a little outing yesterday. Wearing - Denim Playsuit - Miss Selfridge , Shoes - New Look, Watch - Guess, Beaded bracelet - Thri......
