Me rocking my Kanken bag It seems like just yesterday when backpacks were considered tragically uncool for anyone too old to be part of the grade school crowd. These days, however, things have changed, and the backpack has made a huge comeback. Those who prefer not to lug around huge rucksacks will be pleased to know that in line with one of the hottest new trends of 2014 , there’s a whole range of stylish mini backpacks on the market this season that are not only perfect for adults but also for trendy little mini me's. Mr A rocking his little monkey bag Here are our top picks Shinola Mini Backpack The leather backpack is given an update with Shinola’s mini backpack made of artisanal leather. The clean lines and lovingly hand-stitched seams show incredible attention to detail, and the structured rectangular shape is hip in a minimalist way. Shades of Autumn
This weekend we spent the one dry day outside at St Fagans outdoor museum near Cardiff, which Mr A loves. It was really busy as Scouts from around Wales had converged on the outdoor museum for a camping weekend and while we where there Bear Grylls flew in on a helicopter and landed in a cows field - for real! It was really quite chilly and Mr A had the chance to wear his new Boden's jacket we got for him for his birthday, and it was actually really nice to dress all warm and snug, even though most of the layers came off after running around. It was beautiful to see the leaves change colour. So I think we can officially say goodbye to summer and hello Autumn and all the lovely shades that go with this season, beautiful browns and greens, big knits and warm accessories like gloves and scarfs. I always think of Paris and how stylish the men and women are and the well fitted Mac's and boots and berets. When the days become colder, nights darker and shorter I think somet......

Loafer Lust
When I was out and about in the City the other day I came across these two loafers - must have these!! I am in love with them, especially since my loafers are literally falling apart as I wear them all the time. If I had my way I would buy these Marc Jacobs Katie Chain Suede loafer retailing around £175 - I love the use of gold and they look like they would be a very comfortable wear. Another shoe I came across whilst browsing in Debenhams was the Dune Lambrini Suede loafer, similar to the Marc Jacobs but sole and heal is black and slightly thinner and the chain is chunkier. I felt like these could be worn at lunch with the parents as well as cocktails on a friday night. I am smitten. ...

Little moments
So I just felt like a quick instagram update, I've only recently starting using that app (I know I am behind) as I favour my film camera more than anything, but it is such a great little tool to create a lovely feel to your images. So here are my favourite pics from the the weekend - first is my new bottle of Marc Jacobs Daisy...which if I was to describe it's scent in three words would be - fresh, free, spring. The next photo is a rare occasion that John and I both find time to go out in the evening together as our work hours and find someone to watch the little one can be a mission in itself. It was one of those nights when we walked past a bar and though hmm maybe we should go in, but have no expectations of the place as from the outside it really was not anything to look at but inside was like a tardis filled with amazing interior design and collectables and big chesterfield sofas. The third is of Arthur, the first time he has been out in the snow, he looks perplexed but he......

TK Maxx AW lovin
So on tuesday the fabulous people over at TKmaxx treated me and a few other lovely bloggers to an amazing lunch at Paramount, London. This restaurant has simply one of the best views across the city and was an awe inspiring setting for what turned out to be a wonderful fashion packed day. Had a chat with Sophia (of the TKmaxx TV fame) on how they select and buy the products for TKmaxx and the new labels that form part of their Gold Label - which includes Marc Jacobs, Versace, D&G, Moshcino The food was incredible and the wine was flowing as well as the conversation, had a great chat to Pinkbow, Wolfwhistles , These Girls Turn heads and Fashion Pearls of Wisdom , it's always super to meet fellow bloggers in person, especially when you have followed them online. Pearl had the most amazing Chanel pumps on and gorgeous VWestwood Bag, major envy! Dream plate WOW view After the lunch we strolled down Oxford St on our way to the Press Event of the AW select......
