On the 20th September we were so honoured to be able to attend the Mads Blog Awards as finalists in the Fashion and Beauty category. The awards took place in a swish hotel in Kensington, London and we took our time over deciding what to wear. I opted smart monochrome suit type style instead of going for a dress along with my new loves - my Clarks Brogues, which took a longtime to find in my size (not sure how many shops I had to call in a last minute bid to find them), I was also really excited by the prospect that I can finally tie my hair right back. John went for a high street edit, smart but individual and a slightly different look than just going for a black suit.
