So a new Sainsburys has opened near where I live, so today I thought I would check it out, as exciting as supermarket shopping is. I don't normally look at supermarket clothes for myself but a cute little best caught my eye and I noticed that it was designed by Gok Wan. It seems that supermarkets have clicked on to getting creative with collaborations and Gok is a great choice when you are trying to appeal to women of all sizes. I really liked his little 1950's inspired collection, it's pretty simplistic but chic and some of the pieces I could imagine on Lana Del Ray. Please note I have been in no way asked by Sainsburys to talk about this line - this is 100% my own thoughts. Here are my favourites. ...

Catwalk Cardiff vintage love
On thursday John and I attended the annual Catwalk for a cause , which as the name suggest is a Fashion show in aid of Charity - the charity being Marie Curie Cancer Care . It was put on by the Grosvenor Casino in Cardiff Bay with the help of the Cardiff University Fashion Society students. As we had never been to the casino before we didn't know what to expect but the venue was very sleek and John said for a moment he felt like he was back in vegas. We had a drink at the stylish bar before the we took our seats for the show, it was quite a small room but nearly all the seats where filled and there was a really great atmosphere. The theme of the show was High Street Vs Vintage with some local vintage boutiques lending their best as well as high Street brands such as Coast, New Look and Next to name a few getting involved for the good cause. On the seats where little goodie bags filled with some Neal Yard delights which I cannot wait to try, it always really wonderful to see brand......
