Last Monday John and I finally had our first night away from little Mr A as we ventured across the boarder into England and the beautiful city of Bath. We had been kindly asked if we would review the Hilton in Bath and were very excited by the prospect as it's a city we love but don't get much time to visit. After leaving Mr A with lots of toys and big smiles at the prospect of staying with the grandparents we made our way over the Severn Bridge. After parking the car just under the hotel (very convenient), we checked in, I have to say the during our stay the staff were very friendly, professional and informative. Our room was on the 4th floor and had a great view of the city and canal below. What we loved most was the little touches, there was a big chocolate chip cookie with strawberries and olives waiting for us, as well as a thank-you note and bottles of still and sparkling water.
