Celtic Manor Resort is know for it's Christmas Kingdom and seasonal events with it's stunning festive interior and Christmas dinning. A few years ago I had the delight of trying out their Christmas afternoon tea and not only was it delicious but it was also a feast for the eyes with their mini Christmas pudding truffles and marzipan cups. We also took our son to meet Santa at Celtic Manor a few years ago and he really enjoyed the whole experience from decorating biscuits with Mrs Claus to meeting the reindeers and the big man himself. Well besides the afternoon tea and grotto there is also a fantastic undercover and all weather ice rink which is open until the 7th January is a great option if you want to fight the crowds of Winter Wonderland in Cardiff. They also have a Bratwurst hut where you can pick up some traditional hot food and mulled win.
