Street Style Sunday - Monochrome

Monochrome fashion

First of all Happy Easter everyone - hope you all have a family filled fun and stylish day spent eating good food and a few chocolate treats. I also hope you have time to join in with Street Style Sunday and share everything fashion and style related that has been inspiring you lately.

Since having the baby I have slowly been getting back into my old clothes, I know it's only been just under 6 weeks but I am eager to start feeling like me again so when the lovely people at Wallis asked me to try out their online style advisor I was more than happy to, anything that is going to offer a little advice during this post-pregnancy stage is great.

Once I put in all my likes, dislikes, size, shape and preferences it brought up outfits, styles and clothes it thought I would not only like but look good in and I have to say I was not disappointed. It also offered me the following advice "Your key to dressing is to draw the eye away from your broader shoulders and enhance the definition at the waist. Achieve this by choosing clothes that add flattering volume at the hips and nip in at the waist. Lower necklines will soften and divide the strong line in the shoulder area".

So this week I am wearing - Jacket and Blouse and Shoes from Wallis, Trousers - Max Studio, Bag - Ralph Lauren, Sunglasses - Firmoo

So I hope you come and link up with #StreetStyleSunday and share your outfits on instgram using the same hashtag

  3. I second the comment on the blouse. I love the print. I've never spoken to/used a style advisor but sounds like a really good thing to do in order to get your wardrobe in check. I may have to look into it!
