One of my favourite trends to come out of this year has to be the trainer trend, which is popping up all over the place from Vogue magazine to street style blogs and I am loving it. I think this is because if you pull it off not only do you look stylish but also practical with the added benefit of being super comfortable, so rushing around the city would be no problem. Having done a lot of sport in my life, throughout my school and I still love being active today, going to the gym and our daily outdoor adventures this is perfect for me and it's great that shopping for sports shoes has become fun again as it use to be for purpose only. I also really like all the amazing colour trends out at the moment and sports brands are becoming more creative and high street driven and also even if your not actually into trainers you can always go for a high fashion trainer wedge. A trainer outfit inspired post will be up next week, although in the meantime I wanted to share some inspiration with you.
What I also love about the trend is that it's something we can all enjoy as it's pretty much a unisex thing with it being popular with both women and mens street style. I recently picked up a pair of very cool Nike trainers that are so lightweight I feel like I am wearing nothing at all on my feet and give me a real spring in my step. Millet Sports have an amazing selection with some pretty crazy colour waves but pair that with some black skinny jeans and it can become a real statement shoe. All hail the return of the trainers.
