Cardiff Events not to be missed

16/10/2013

It's not winter yet and I always try and make the most of what is not yet the coldest season of the year, with lots of events and happenings around Cardiff, with something for everyone from Music, fashion, Art and parenting,  here are four of my fave over the next month.

Swn Music Festival - 17th - 20th October - with live music happening across the city and a weekend pass only coming in at £65 this is a great music festival attracting local and international talent to the city, including Mr Scruff and Everything Everything it's going to be a great weekend. I can personally say that on the two occasions I have been I have always had fun and running around from venue to venue made things more interesting.

Made in Roath Arts Festival 17th-24th Oct with free events happening across the creative suburb of Roath. With various galleries opening there doors, street markets, films and gatherings it's a really exciting weekend with lots to do and see as well as support local artists.

Cardiff Fashion Week 19th-27th with fashion inspired shows, catwalks and events across the city this is another stylish and fun event happening in the heart of the city, with highlights being the Catwalk shows on the 19th at The Hilton Hotel, John Lewis Days of Beauty and The Style show taking place in the arcades

Cardiff baby and toddler show - 17th November at Cardiff City Hall with pre-booked tickets only costing £3 this is perfect for parents to check out the latest on offer with the event being buggy friendly with a breast-feeding area, cafe and soft play for little ones it's perfect to bring your young children along, I am planning to go and I am excited to see the demos and activities on show.
