Ultimate summer driving playlist

summer music

So with two festivals under our belt this summer and a few little getaways, it means that we have spent quite a lot of time in the car and anyone knows when you embark on an awesome road trip you need an equally awesome playlist to pop into the car stereo to put you in the mood for fun and adventure. With Camp Bestival being just over a 3hour drive we needed something not only to inspire our trip but also to keep us alert and focused on a long trip, as nothing keeps you more wide and awake than singing along to your favourite tunes. So when Money Super Market asked me to share our favourite tunes we couldn't wait.

road trip

I went for a chilled theme with influences from rock, folk and everything in between and when it comes to music it can be a real personal choice so we went for a pre-festival chill out mix. What makes a road trip soundtrack even better is having a decent sound system with the best under seat subwoofer as this will make a huge difference to the overall experience. So if you're hitting the road anytime soon here is a little music inspiration for you.

  4. Some unusual but really cool track choices here... I always try and go for tracks with bass when I'm driving to keep me awake! I'm jealous of Gem going to Bestival - I had such a great time there last year.. apart from running round to try and find a spare tyre!
