For our second day in London we wanted to be practical especially since we were going to be seeing and doing quite a lot in the morning. I decided to layer things up with a shirt, jumper and jacket as well as wearing practical hard-wearing Docs. Both John and Mr A were sporting Ralph Lauren.

Us on the train to London

We had a great time in London, even though it was a shorter stop than we would of liked, the 2hour train trip with a toddler went as smooth as we could of hoped for and involved lots of colouring, stickers and watching tractors. We had an amazing time at the Natural History Museum, especially the Dinosaur exhibition and our time in the Ralph Lauren Kids store was magical.

We stayed in a great Aparthotel in South Kensington called Citadines which we couldn't recommend more if your travelling with children as it has a little mini kitchen, was chic and was in a great location. We had very yummy food at Byrons Proper burger, I went for the veggie Portobello mushroom and goats cheese and John went for the chilli burger and local beer.

The next day was equally fund as we visited Big Ben, walked across to see the London eye and take Mr A to the Aquarium which was amazing. We loved the shark tank, turtles and sting rays. The most important thing is we all had a lot of fun and a great family short trip.
