Shades of Autumn

07/10/2012

This weekend we spent the one dry day outside at St Fagans outdoor museum near Cardiff, which Mr A loves. It was really busy as Scouts from around Wales had converged on the outdoor museum for a  camping weekend and while we where there Bear Grylls flew in on a helicopter and landed in a cows field - for real! It was really quite chilly and Mr A had the chance to wear his new Boden's jacket we got for him for his birthday, and it was actually really nice to dress all warm and snug, even though most of the layers came off after running around. It was beautiful to see the leaves change colour.

So I think we can officially say goodbye to summer and hello Autumn and all the lovely shades that go with this season, beautiful browns and greens, big knits and warm accessories like gloves and scarfs. I always think of Paris and how stylish the men and women are and the well fitted Mac's and boots and berets. When the days become colder, nights darker and shorter I think sometimes our outfits become dreary and boring so a little bit of colour of good accessories can make a huge difference, I totally believe in wearing shades in the winter sun and here are some of our fav picks for the season, from the high end to the more affordable
